I took the plunge from hospitality sales management in to Real Estate the latter part of 2003. One of my favorite things about it is that the market is always changing (even when things are good!)and you must be willing to adapt. I love to learn and take on fresh challenges so for me, this industry is a really good fit.

Besides being the largest single investment most will make in their lifetime, a home is something you have to live with every day and it should make you happy to be there. A good Realtor should endeavor to help his/her buyers and sellers to strike a balance between their current needs and wants with an eye to what they hope to accomplish in the coming years. It’s an important process and I love to be a part of it.

Recently, I have become a certified EcoBroker® and hope to drive more demand for earth friendly building and remodeling practices in our area. Beyond the direct benefit to our planet, energy efficient homes can reap tremendous savings in operating costs and are much healthier to live in.

In 2008, I  consulted with our Multiple Listing Service and am proud to announce we now have  25 green features  included in our search fields.   I believe environmental stewardship should be passed along to our children and have spent the last year helping my children’s school pledge to the Tennessee Pollution Prevention Partnership as well as helping facilitate a  school wide composting program and building a vegetable garden.

Nashville is just cutting it’s teeth in to the green building movement and I really hope to help it stick.
